Stay Home and Read: Thrillers

I've spent the last four weeks putting deals and freebies up on my Facebook page, but I'm not reading any of those actually. Sure, I've one-clicked a few, but I have over 300 books on my Kindle that I have to read, 150 of those are ARCs, and that doesn't include the oh...6 bookshelves in my home filled with more ARCs from publishers and books I've purchased. Plus, since I haven't read most of those deals I can't tell you how good they are, though I've tried to only post authors I have read previously. A lot of you are looking for your next favorite read, so I wouldn't be doing my job as a blogger or friend if I didn't share with you my favorite and top rated novels from the genres I read.
If you're looking to spend an entire afternoon on the couch or have a book you can escape into everyday for a week then these are the books I'd reach for. I'll make a new post for each genre with ten books I recommend for passing the Stay at Home time by. If you've got a special genre request or trope (for my fellow romance lovers) drop a comment here, on FB, or on Instagram. If you do read any, let me know what you think, and include your recommendations too! We all know my bookshelves didn't get so full without someone's influence.

Stay Home and Read: Thrillers

1. The Wives by Tarryn Fisher
Imagine that your husband has two other wives. You’ve never met the other wives. None of you know each other, and because of this unconventional arrangement, you can see your husband only one day a week. But you love him so much you don’t care. Or at least that’s what you’ve told yourself.

But one day, while you’re doing laundry, you find a scrap of paper in his pocket—an appointment reminder for a woman named Hannah, and you just know it’s another of the wives.

You thought you were fine with your arrangement, but you can’t help yourself: you track her down, and, under false pretenses, you strike up a friendship. Hannah has no idea who you really are. Then, Hannah starts showing up to your coffee dates with telltale bruises, and you realize she’s being abused by her husband. Who, of course, is also your husband. But you’ve never known him to be violent, ever.

Who exactly is your husband, and how far would you go to find the truth? Would you risk your own life?

And who is his mysterious third wife?
