Whatcha Reading Wednesday

Happy Birthday to me!
Okay, well it was Monday, but still! I used the day to work, but also to spend time with my family eating the best birthday food ever, pizza. I am a child still, I know.
It has been a busy few weeks on the work front and the blog has suffered a bit, so thank you all for sticking out the quiet days and the pre-formatted posts. They aren't my favorite and sort of a must-have on a book blog, but I usually try very hard to give you my personal thoughts and share my personal life. For the past few months my coworkers and I have been a bit short staffed, my workload carrying over into my personal time. Most of that is sorted now (Yay new coworkers!) and I am finally reading all of my ARCs and backlog. I have A TON of amazing new books to share with you and you'll be seeing a lot more reviews shortly.

Here's what I'm reading right now:
CJ Roberts has shared that her Dark Duet series is finally getting traction in being produced for film/television and she asked for actor opinions last week. I've always wanted to read the series, but it didn't necessarily fall in my usual tastes. After every single one of my favorite authors said this was one of their favorites too, I knew I had to give in and read it too!

I just started the epilogue, but let me tell you, Seduced in the Dark was a SOLID 5 Star read for me.

To the Fall by Prescott Lane releases TOMORROW and it is absolutely in my Top 10 books of 2018 and will forever be one of my favorite books ever, it's right up there with Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher and The Ghostwriter by Alessandra Torre.

I finished Secret Lucidity by E.K. Blair over a month ago, but I loved it so much that with all the hype surrounding it I am reading it again. This is one of the best student teacher romances I have ever read.

My review can be found HERE

Finally, I am starting Murder Notes by Lisa Renee Jones tomorrow! I am so excited for this new series from LRJ and am thrilled to have an early ARC in my hands. This thriller is available for pre-order now and goes live March 27!
