Nadia Jayne's life was flipped upside down at seventeen, she's stuck in a town she doesn't know with no friends and a creepy stepdad. Who knew things could get any worse? 10 years later her world is full of darkness and villains. Sweet Jayne may have a dark side though, because she needs those villains just like they need her.
My eyes lock with the monstrous ones I'd been so good at containing. His beast is running wild and free. And it's starving. Starving for me. "You're in so much fucking trouble, bad girl."
Oh Nadia, the men you wrap around your fingers are so interesting and hot, if not a bit damaged. Kasper, Logan, and Donovan...what I would do for this book to be a bit longer so I could spend a little more time with each of you. I can't promise it would be for good reasons though. *wink*
The lives of the ones I love depend on my ability to play a part.
Sweet Jayne is a multi-POV standalone from author K. Webster that takes reader on a mysterious, suspenseful, and romantic adventure that will leave you guessing at every page turn. The characters are mysterious, yet extremely complex, it is impossible to follow the strings that connect them all together without drawing a map...or reading the book to the very end. Each character will bring out a bit of love and a bit of hate in you. Their pasts are twisted, their present selves formed from the darkness that each has carried with them since a tragic event 10 years prior. Like most K. Webster books things start out normal enough, but she'll drag you far out of your comfort zone without you even noticing and in this case the complexities of each character make you unable to deny the darkness, you will want to know who they really are. Through present-tense POVs and flashbacks each character drags the reader deeper into the rabbit hole that Nadia Jayne sits at the center of, tying the men and their pasts together. It's impossible to talk about this book without giving anything away, just be prepared for high emotions, and truly heed the warning if abuse, kidnapping, BDSM, taboo, etc. bother you. I did remove a half star from my overall rating due to my ability to guess at least one major plot point very early on.
To watch her fall, I'll need her trust and eventual adoration. It will be more climactic. Beautiful. Deserving.

Ladies and gentlemen, put away all your silly ideas about this book and just read it, because you will never ever guess where all the twists and turns lead to, I promise. K. Webster yet again takes readers down a deep, dark hole they won't be able to find their way out of until she offers a light to them at the end. With unique characters, daring relationships, incredible writing, and a truly suspenseful story line, Sweet Jayne is a stunner in the dark suspense and romance genres.
