His frequent flyers are few, but variety breeds a challenge on which he thrives, and loneliness is not a burden he shoulders. But when he happens upon an exquisite, little redhead—whose shy demeanor he'd like to shatter in one night of passion—her reluctance to accept his offer changes his game completely. Teddy Fitzpatrick doesn't trust easily. The scars that define her cut deep, and love is a dream she's afraid to chase. When a tall, dark, and gorgeous man enters her world, she knows right away that he's the type to break hearts. Yet, try as she might, his persistence is hard to ignore, and her ability to resist soon dwindles down to nothing. Against her better judgment, she opens her heart, surrendering to the dominate force that he is. But happily-ever-afters are not easy to come by, for assholes aren't born, they're made... 4 Star Review
Judah St. Michaels is a ladies man, he gives and recieves pleasure, but nothing more. He's got women who beg for more time with him, but all his wants and needs can be taken care of in the bedroom. Love is not a thing he spends time worrying about. When a sweet little redhead turns down his offer of passion he knows he must step up his game to woo her over.
Teddy Fitzpatrick doesn't trust and she knows how many assholes are in the world who are made from their circumstances. When a handsome man sets his sights on her and begins to woo her in ways she's never known she finds herself unable to resist. She always him in her head, her heart, and soon she allows his Dominant style into her bed.
But he doesn't believe in love and her trust is easy to lose. Can happily-ever-after be attained if there is no love and no trust?

He tasts like wine, and he smells like heaven, and I have no idea how we got here, but I don't care.

Holy hotness. Fool for You is a standalone in the Made for Love series, it centers around our favorite, handsome jerk Judah, and sweet shy girl Teddy. It's heavy on the smut, in fact if you've read the entire series be ready for a game changer, because Judah is a whole different animal. It is extra long in length and told from dual point of views, with the occasional change to Gabriel, Teddy's best friend. I have been beyond excited for Judah's story since we first met him in Reckless Surrender. He was a cocky asshole then and he's the same man now, only he's finally risen to the challenge to get a girl who's easier than just dinner and the bedroom. I loved getting back into the interior design business Judah works in, as well as finally getting to know his past. It is definitely not a past I could have predicted and I love how he was changed from it. He's a perfect example of a complex character with extensive development over the course of the novel. Teddy is sweet, petite, and surprisingly a bit of a firecracker. Like Judah she has a past that transformed her, her trust is hard to gain and her attention even harder. I really appreciated that Teddy's heavy past was really thought through and I loved how thoroughly entwined it was in everything she did. I know, hard to say I like something bad happening to a character (I don't), but I really liked how it was dealt with. I have such a hard time when characters have pasts that are brushed over, these two really had to deal with the ugly in order to get to the good.

What intrigues me the most about the whole scenario is that I don't seem to mind the wait. I'm enjoying the chase.

Both sweet and sexy, R.C. Martin brings Judah and Teddy's romance to life in Fool for You. I could easily picture every location, every character, and feel every emotion. I loved the sweet parts between Judah and Teddy as they grew comfortable around one another and let their guards down. The sexy times were definitely steaming hot though, because the Dominant Judah just so happens to bring out the submissive in Teddy. The mixture of romance and smut really brought out both characters, Teddy changed into a woman who could let herself go and Judah found emotions weren't as suffocating as he first thought. Plus, these two kiss like their lives depend on it, more is said in their kisses than anywhere else in the entire novel.

I can't move, momentarily crippled by the knife I feel I've shoved into my own back. As I stare as her, my eyes focused on hers, I realize that I'm fucking fucked! She's mine.

The novels length is definitely something you have to be aware of when jumping into Fool for You. While it's the kind of book that you won't want to put down, I know I couldn't, it is significantly longer than most books of its type. There is a lot of smut in this book and I love smut, but at times I felt like it took over the story. I knew what I was getting into with Judah, he's an attractive man with a knack for wooing women, but I wasn't prepared for his time with other women to play into the story. You definitely get a feel he's a jerk and I got frustrated with him a number of times. Plus, I really hate it when I have to read a scene between the hero and another women, even if it is who the character is/used to be. Just not my favorite.

...Only a fool would call this ache love. Love is for fools. And I am no fool.

Fool for You showcases R.C. Martin's writing abilities better than any of her previous novels, she brings the characters to life. I felt every emotion and might have laughed out loud a time or two. Judah's story is not to be missed and I recommend it to fans of the Made for Love series and even to those who aren't. As a standalone novel it is the kind of smutty romance I know several of my friends will totally love, so jump on in.
I'm a born and bred Coloradan. While I now reside in Virginia, the land of the Rocky Mountains is where I've left a piece of my heart and where my characters come to life. When I'm not writing I'm reading; when I'm not reading I'm writing...you know how it goes! I also enjoy cooking, baking, crocheting, and jigsaw puzzles. Basically, I'm an old soul with a young heart, nonchalantly waiting for my prince to come.
